Privacy Policy
Splitter · Effective date: 12 June 2026
This Privacy Policy describes how the Splitter mobile application
(“Splitter”, “the app”, “we”,
“us”) handles information when you use it (the
“Service”). By using the Service you agree to this policy. Unless
otherwise defined here, terms have the same meaning as in our Terms of Use.
1. Information we collect
Splitter is built to collect as little as possible.
- No account required. We do not ask for your name,
email, or phone number, and we do not create a user profile.
- Videos you save are stored only on your device, and in
your gallery if you enable Auto Save. We never upload, store, or access
your saved videos.
- Links you process are sent to our resolver service only
to obtain a direct media URL, in real time. We do not store the links or
tie them to your identity.
- Usage & device data may be collected automatically
by the third-party services below, such as a device advertising
identifier, IP address, device type and operating system, and general
diagnostic data, for advertising and reliability purposes.
2. Identifiers and similar technologies
The app itself does not use website cookies. Our advertising and
subscription providers may use mobile identifiers (such as the advertising ID)
and SDK technologies to deliver and measure ads and to manage purchases. You
can reset or limit the advertising identifier in your device settings.
3. Third-party services
- Google AdMob (advertising) — may collect a device
advertising identifier and usage data to show and measure ads. On iOS, ads
are personalized only if you allow tracking when prompted. See the
Google Privacy Policy
and
how Google uses data.
- RevenueCat (subscriptions) — processes your
purchase and subscription status to manage Premium access. See the
RevenueCat Privacy Policy.
- Apple App Store / Google Play — process payments
for purchases. We never receive your full payment details.
These providers act as independent controllers or processors and handle
data under their own privacy policies.
4. Device permissions
- Photo library / storage — only to save videos you
choose to keep, to your gallery.
- Internet — to fetch the videos you request and to
serve ads.
- App Tracking (iOS) — only if you allow it, to let
AdMob show personalized ads.
5. How we use information
Information is used only to provide the app’s features, to show and
measure ads, to manage subscriptions, and to keep the Service working,
secure, and free of abuse. We do not sell your personal information.
6. International transfers
The third-party services we use may process data on servers located in
other countries. Where required, those providers maintain appropriate
safeguards for international transfers.
7. Legal disclosure
We may disclose information if required to comply with a legal obligation,
to protect our rights or property, to investigate possible wrongdoing, or to
protect the safety of users or the public.
8. Data security
We use reasonable measures to protect information. However, no method of
transmission or storage is completely secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute
security.
9. Children
The Service is not directed to children under 13 (or the minimum age
required in your region). We do not knowingly collect personal information
from children. If you believe a child has provided us information, contact us
and we will take appropriate steps.
10. Your rights and choices
- Deny or revoke gallery and tracking permissions in device settings.
- Delete saved videos at any time inside the app.
- Reset your advertising identifier in device settings.
- Depending on your region (e.g. EEA/UK under GDPR, California under
CCPA/CPRA), you may have rights to access, correct, or delete personal
data. Contact us to make a request.
11. Changes to this policy
We may update this policy from time to time. Changes are posted on this
page with a new effective date and take effect when posted.
